Georgia Erbez is a Managing Director and founded Beal Advisors in 2008. Georgia has over 20 years experience in Investment Banking, and has focused on providing a broad array of investment banking services solely to life sciences companies for over 12 years. Georgia has experience across a broad array of transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, PIPEs, convertible debt and merger and acquisition advisory services. From 2005 to 2008, Georgia was a Senior Vice President in the life sciences investment banking group at Jefferies & Co. From 1998 to 2002 she was with the health care investment banking group at Cowen and Co., most recently as Director. From 1997 to 1998, Georgia was an Associate with the investment banking group at Hambrecht & Quist and focused on health care services and life sciences companies. Georgia began her Investment Banking career in 1989 with the investment banking group at Alex. Brown & Sons where she focused on life sciences, medical technology and health care services companies. Georgia has completed over 65 financing and merger transactions in the health care industry valued at over $6.3 billion. She received her B.A. in International Relations with an emphasis in Economics from the University of California at Davis in 1989.
Georgia focuses on mergers and acquistions, asset sales and purchases, strategic advisory, and business development and licensing for biotechnology companies in all therapeutic categories.

Margery Fischbein joined Beal advisors in 2009 as a Managing Director. In 2009, Margery was Senior Vice President Corporate Development at Genoptix, Inc. From 2008 to 2009, Margery was Executive Vice President M&A at Paramount BioSciences, a venture capital firm focused on Life Sciences. From 2006 to 2008, Margery was head of business development, strategic planning and alliance management for Human Genome Sciences. From 2004 to 2006, Margery was head of business development for ImClone Systems. From 1996 to 2003 Margery was a Managing Director in Investment/Corporate Banking at Citigroup. From 1993 to 1996 Margery was a Managing Director in Investment Banking at JP Morgan Chase. From 1985 to 1993 Margery held several positions in Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers, most recently as Senior Vice President. Margery is on the Boards of the HBS Health Association and the Harvard Business School Club of Greater NY. She received her B.A. in economics from Harvard University and her MBA from Harvard Business School.
Margery specializes in working with therapeutics and diagnostics biotechnology companies. Her areas of expertise are business development and product licensing, financial advisory and Mergers and Acquisitions.
